Senior Python Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our backend development team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable backend systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver, passionate about backend development, and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Architect, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python.

• • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

• • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers.

• • Lead code reviews and ensure coding standards and practices are followed across the team.

• • Optimize backend performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable solutions.

• • Integrate with third-party APIs and manage data flow across systems.

• • Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• • Guide and mentor junior developers and interns.

• • Maintain version control and CI/CD processes using Git and related tools.

• • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative backend solutions.

Requirements:

• • Expertise in Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• • Deep understanding of RESTful API design, integration, and best practices.

• • Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

• • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).

• • Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.

• • Familiarity with containerization and DevOps tools is a plus (Docker, Kubernetes).

• • Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies is a bonus (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an agile, team-oriented environment.
